Thread:collect is a pre-paid home pickup service brought to you by SCRgroup.

Thread:collect is an all-new pre-paid clothing home pickup service, which includes the collection of clothing, shoes, household items and baby prams. Collections are up to 2 cubic square meters, so it’s a great chance to clear out your unwanted items. *All prams will be directly donated to The Big Group Hug to support vulnerable families who are living in crisis

How does it work?

Residents can book a ‘clothing only collection’ or a ‘clothing and household items collection’. $1 from every booking will go to a charity of your choice. The charities we’re supporting through this program include:

Thread:Collect will notify you if they were unable to locate your items and contact you to rebook. Alternatively, you can contact Thread:Collect via our Live Chat, email or phone (place links for these contact details).

For items not accepted by Thread:collect, you can contact your local Council for a hard waste pickup or alternative services.

Thread:collect is a private service and the fees are to cover the cost of sending a driver to your home to collect your items and the cost of recycling. We also donate $1 from every collection to a charity.

We work with local recycling partners to recycle items that cannot be recycled.
